Nothing Is Funny

The title of this blog is a bit jarring but humor me (see what I did there).  What is funny to me? To be honest I have no idea. Humor is nuanced, some people have a specific type of humor which they are particularly subscitble to. Some examples include self-depricatoing humor, physical comedy, wordplay, surreal humor, dark humor. People can usually associate themselves with a particularly category but I simply can’t. I think it’s because I laugh at anything or anyone. Jokes that are distinctly unfunny are amusing because no one reacts. No matter how stupid the joke is if you smile I will smile. I start laughing if you laugh. I would look like this image. Though something that can make me laugh is pets. Something about an animal making their owners angry because they did something uncharacteristically stupid and yet the owner still sharing the same amount of love for the pet is wholesome and incredibly funny to me. Butterflies? Beautiful Or Catastrophic?

Butterflies. An odd topic to talk about in relation to time right? Almost how odd you are sitting where you are now. Past! The chair in which you sit in, how did it get there? The fact you were born? As a result of what? Nuanced questions but bear with me.  On a fateful day in the 1960s the meteorologist coined the term Butterfly Effect through the tiny, butterfly—scale changes to the starting point of his computer weather models resulted in anything from sunny skies to violent storms—with no way to predict in advance what the outcome might be. It has been over 60 years since that day. And with time everything changes.
